Before the summer solstice and the strawberry full moon we will gather to celebrate the abundance of the season, the growth, the summer harvest and the fertility of the Earth in a safe circle of women, crafting a harvest tart in togetherness and in connection to our bodies and to that of Mother Earth.

Last weekend it was very special. We gathered with the ladies to create in togetherness, bond with one another, share stories with an open heart and a free mind.
We connected with the one of the most ancestral food resources and we crafted gorgeous sourdough breads everyone with the unique body + character of their owners and creators.

The Sourdough Bread Workshop
We will work with the sourdough bread, one of the most ancestral foods connecting us with our ancestors. We will handcraft wildly fermented bread, through food meditation and sensorial food preparation. We will connect in a safe circle of women preparing and sharing the same resource in togetherness.

The First Steps into the Sensorial Food Workshops
Through the attention to our senses we explored all the ingredients. We connected with the resource, we paid respect to it and we paused for a moment to listen; to show our respect and appreciation for the abundance. To connect with the ingredients and see how they change when we handle them. We learned through play and we explored as if everything was new.

The recent trip to Tunisia has been an affluent abundance of rawness, authenticity, hospitality, philoxenia, textures, flavors and scents. This experience came at the right moment when preparing in mind and spirit for the upcoming retreat at the end of September.

Introducing the Sourdough Flakes
The small bag contains a dormant community of sourdough resident microbes naturally dehydrated. This is an amazing way to share with you the goodness of the homegrown sourdough starter developed at the studio and at the same time a sustainable way to repurpose the otherwise discarded sourdough starter between the feedings.
